After Dark Theme

OK... I don't do this normally but the shoulder is still AFU and I can't carry my gear around. This means you get a repeat post. There are a lot of new users that haven't seen these anyway.

Playing On The Freeway
Well above the freeway anyway.

I'd been wanting to try this with my digital for a long time. I shot some years ago on film but there is so much guessing involved. All shots with my 20D and 50mm F 1.8 lens. ISO 100. The time period was from just after sunset until fall on your rear dark. Taken from a freeway overpass.

If you decide to try this... do NOT drop your camera. You will mess it up! Wear light colored clothes so you don't get your butt run over by someone on the overpass.

Still the highest standard for all freeway shots! These are great! Good luck w/ the shoulder.. been there, it does suck!

Thanks. Shoulder is getting there. I'm out of the sling and typing with both hands again. Range of motion is coming back and the pain is going away due to killing myself with the stretching exercises. Another three weeks or so I can start the strength building on it. I'm shooting for 100 percent by Christmas. TP says at the rate I'm going I should be able to do it.

What a great set!!! The last one did it for me..awesome : ) I hope I do as good as you when they do my knee replacements... Keep up the good work with PT and a shootin... : )

Still fun, second time around. Sounds like you might be a candidate for one of those small, high mp cameras like the 9mp fuji or a canon a620 that you can shoot one handed. Some are even offering image stabilization now. (Don't tell SG but I just got myself an a620, 7.1mp at bh for just over 200).

This post was like an old episode of Andy Griffith...it's good even in re-runs! You've given so much great advice for this theme, I don't have any doubts that you would prefer to shoot new ones. Take those vitamins to speed up your healing!
