  • Love the barn with poison ivy! Its hard to get all the flowers in focus. You may try using the smallest f stop available ,and use a tripod, to get them all in focus.

I had the same issue with the wildflowers in Texas. Don's tips will help for next time. I did pick the right flower though! Barn looks great!

Nice Queen Ann's Lace shot..Happy to break the news though, That's Trumpet Vine, not Poison Ivy. Everybody can stop scratching now!

I like the last shot. But would like to see it a little more in focus or sharper. Now that LchArm said that I see the flowers on the trumpet vine. I was going to ask where you live. Because I have never heard of poison ivy that grows that crazy....lol

  • Looks like all the barns around here. The kudzu usually chokes everything else out here.

if you look ar rhe picture again, you will see the poison ivy to the left of the trumpet vine. it is also on the back corner, barely visable in the shot. i got close enough to see it because i was actually drawn in by the trumpet vine to see some hummers. penny, i am here in tennessee and it grows like crazy!

  • Nice shots Jay, like the barn much. If you get too close to the Poison Ivy, don't forget to use the Jewell Weed.

Uh Oh!!! I see it now!!..That's a monster..Ok everybody start scratching again. Once, I visited Mississippi..I loved the beautiful vine growing everywhere and asked a resident where I might buy seeds or a plant....Kudzu. I didn't know till I got home and looked it up why he was laughing so much.
