Shanghai After Dark

First, the Oriental Pearl Tower, in the Pudong Development district across the Huangpu River

Next, a few shots of the Bund, the waterfront area lined with majestic old buildings from the 1910-1930's era (the first time Shanghai was a boomtown).

This is my second trip to China. Shanghai is a pretty amazing city.

Kay - the weather is extremely HOT this time of year and very very humid with frequent thunderstorms at night. You learn to plan your walking trips with stops in places that have air conditioning, just so you can cool off!

Your photos are wonderful. The color is good and compositon is well balanced. Good job! Lets see some more. I was in Shanghai back in March. I agree with you, it IS an amazing city. While there I shot a ton of photos and posted some here on PH. I would be honored if you would check them out.
