Fringes in b&w is gorgeous! Great set all around. As for the resolution issue...I don't know. It looks like JPG compression...have you saved and resaved these images more than a time or two?
On the tracks and sitting alone made me feel as though I had stepped back into a time before I was born. Great images, my favorite being on the tracks.
Boy I'm batting a thousand with this post. I didn't even spell my title right. Vignette! I think maybe the resolution problem is the way I did the Vignette on them. They didn't look like that before I did it.
top on my list is tracks, the little extra in there add to it (sometimes a screw up comes out good) all other shots i'm leaning towards B/W FYI> spelling don't count
I just love the way you look at life. Your shots always have such feeling to them. I like the angles on each one. And, to heck with the pixels... Just say you did it on purpose, and suddenly it becomes "art".
On the tracks is nice, I like it. Sitting alone works good in both color an b/w for me. Fringes is better in b/w the green trees, being about the only color, are too distracting in the color version. Ice cream I prefer the color cause I like the complementary red of the cart and green in the fence. Very nice find of the old vendor cart and nice shots. I can ignore the artifacts cause I know that's an aberration for you and not the norm.
Tracks is very nice..had to smile at "mooch"...the seagulls here are so voracious that when you eat at the beach you have to hold onto your food or they'll swoop down and grab it out of your hands! Good post!
First love this work Penny, very creative and a joy to view. Tracks with the angle is hard pressed to tell its age and sitting alone has such feeling to it, would pick B&W for these shots as it shows more detail. When changing compostion on pictures start with the largest size you can as it will effect the pixel and what you were doing can distort the pixel if your not careful. I figure your working in PS or PSP don't down size until you are done. Then watch your compression as it also can get messy and start to distort very quickly. If you want any more help talk to me off here...
Love the tracks and what a great find in the ice cream cart. Love them all. Mooch is cute looks like the beluga is going after the bird. Great set!!! :o)
Candice your seagulls are quite a bit bigger then the ones around here. They are well fed! I think the pixels came when I did the vignette in arcsoft photo studio. I don't have PS. But I didn't see them until I posted.
