MikeH and I met for the first time at 6AM on Saturday (Did you feel the quantum vibration photographica grid shift?)  Mike as wheelman, me riding shotgun, we traveled un mapped Big Apple roads.  Mike knows where all the street art in NYC is.  Read that sentence again, please. This is not an exaggeration. He is also truly a wheelman warrior, I did not glance in our blind spots once.

If any editor can fix that link to Mike's site, please. I know it's hard to fix a story, but it looks like there's an extra space at the end of the link. http://www.murartnewyork.com/

Pablo & I have decided to start a side business, UNAUTHORIZED tours of NYC. Due to a shortage of funds we will not have any insurance of any kind -ie. business/vehicle ( working on the later) We will (must by law) be offering a orientation class, subjects of discussion #1- Not to show fear in certain neighborhoods. #2- How to side step Hookers/unsavory characters #3- How to LOOK through the windows of upscale eateries(deluxe package includes a peanut butter sandwich/juice pack) #4- How to put on a bulletproof vest (deluxe package) #5- How to address the Mayor (will be a look-alike) #6- Meet a real life mobster (yeeeees- we still have those) #7- How to say "UF-AHHHHHHHHHH"/FUHGEDABOUTIT like a local & kow what it means & know how to use it. It could save your life. For Pricing & Package options. Please contact Pablo, or call 1800-I'll no longer fear New Yorkers. Not responsible for any typos; Management Gratuities are accepted. (YOU BETTER GO DEEP IN THOSE POCKETS)

Great shootin' guys! After the title I expected you guys to be toolin' on a red, white, & blue chopper. All are great liked to many to list them. Seen the Lomabardi's pizza the other night on the history channel. The first night I'm on my diet the history channel has a two hour "snack food tech" show followed my American Eats "Pizza" for an hour.

OH- I forgot, I'm supposed to say something nice about Pablo. I truly feel that "PABLO" is an asset to our site. The passion he has shows for our city is insatiable. The last time I saw that look was when the local Weight Watcher meeting ended and the participants walked past a pizza shop. The shots that he posts have even me awe-struck. Pablo is your typical New Yorker friendly, trust worthy, and prompt ( he was on time for our quest). For all his efforts, & not showing fear for some of the places I took him, he deserves a standing ovation. (Ok- there I said it> now give me the $20 you promised Due to printer screw up, one of our topics of discussion at our orientation was omitted. # - How to act tuff, even though you just piddled in your pants (as long you don't have a puddle next to your sneakers)

Great shooting guys. I liked them all - but my favorite was CT2. I have never seen anything like that.

the state of human hearts I cannot know and yet the blossoms of this familiar village still greet me with the scents of years past Tsurayuki - such a long, long time before the dawn

  • Sopris
I really liked the last two photos!

  • Buccaneer Bruce
Thanks for the tour of some of the less famous sites in the Big Apple. Agree with Loweho, there were too many good photos to pick any favorites. Nice job guys!

  • MudMistress
Great shots, all!! I have a small preference for the Chinatown shots... both are a little surprising. All the street art and views are awesome though!
