Loved them all, fantastic shots, Wilk! I love the sky in parallels and my overall fave of the bunch is storm coming... great sky but I just love the rock formation for some reason. Again, fantastic.

Very, very nice. Wood and Storm Coming were the ones that really stuck with me. Very grandiose, open and desolate...all at the same time. Hard to fit in a single frame! Great work!

  • Great pics, and nice treatments. Have you thought about dodging some of the brighter sandy areas above the rock in "Storm Coming?" I think the rock makes for a great subject in the pic, but the sand detracts from it.

Thanks all; your comments are much appreciated. I was only gone for two weeks -- Smalltown, I have to leave the computer to take the photos and these were a couple thousand miles away from the house so it took me a while to hike back. 20DShooter -- the day was so bright I could barely see the lcd so I was guessing half the time about what the outcome would be and the temp was well over 100 so I wasn't spending a lot of time on each shot -- I'll give your suggestion a try though and see how it turns out. Thanks.
