You work....then you rest

While I was in China, I didn't see the first lazy person.  I saw a culture intent on making a living in any way they could.  Some of the housing I showed you yesterday belonged to some of the hard workers I saw.....and it sickened me to know they bust their butt and can't afford to do any better than they were.  I just wanted to reach out to them and tell them there's a better way.....my hubby figures I'll get in all sorts of trouble with my mouth when we get over there; I hope he's wrong, but I've never been one to keep quiet for very long about something that bothers me.  This post I'll share some of the workers I saw with you.

Good post Kay, they are very hard workers and I don't think that they are recognized for it. I think I might get in trouble also. I have a former student who has been teaching in China for 20 years.

Great shots, Kay! I can't wait for you to get over there! 8o) To paraphrase The Boss... Got in a little hometown jam So they put a camera in my hand Sent me off to a foreign land To go and shoot the yellow man I might add, there are a lot of people here that work hard all their life and don't have what they deserve. But a lot of the ones I know are happy, we have a remarkable capacity to make do with what we have. That doesn't mean we don't want more only that we don't need more.
