Morning Golf

Serious golfers generally play early - very early. Officially this is because they don't get caught behind beginners and others who slowly thrash their way around the course. Unofficially it is simply because the world of cars and machines hasn't yet begun its roar and the rising sun is just so beautiful.

I took this photo on the morning of our opening tournament for the year. I've scarcely seen such a stunning sunrise as we were blessed with that day.

In good conscience I can't even think of how I could jokingly work-in the theme of pain and suffering. Even just being able to golf is a privilege - never mind the stunning misty dawn.

Beautiful shot with beautiful light. The color balance does appear a bit off (too much yellow) but perhaps that is the way the light really looked.

stunning! i understand (although not reallly) the early morning thing with golfers. it's only 7:29 (i'm not a morning glory) and my husband is already on his was to the golf course!

It's like golf-day at photographica! The orangey-overcast is great - and then you add a great capture, too. Very nice.
