    Both great shots. For some reason I can't get butterflies. People look at me and say "Honey, look at that mad man running around with a camera trying to chase down the butterflies!"

    Beautiful shots Rockey. I'm sorry to say I just got back from a walk in the woods, and, as hot as it is, the signs are there already. Soon we'll be getting the shots of the colored leaves, the fungi, seed pods, nuts,.......bring 'em on.

    WOW! Excellent captures - the butterfly and the hummer. And of course, once we get past the first day of summer, the days get shorter and the leaves start changing. Subtley at first, but changing none the less.

    Great shots, Rock! The whatever butterfly was awesome and the hummer was better. I think summer still here for awhile but I'll be glad when the leaves turn.

    It may not be fall yet but the leaves are beginning to drop because of the dry weather......... Your leaf is a great reminder of the splendid color we will be seeing a couple of months. Another beautiful hummer.

    Your pictures truly amaze me Rock, Do you have a lens that big to get so close or do you crop? Either way that are fantastic.
