It's been a fun year

I became a subscriber one year ago today.  I've enjoyed it thoroughly.  Thanks to all for putting up with my occasional pointed critiques.

During my time here I've posted 339 images.  These are my four favorites.

All but Sinopah were originally shot as digital.  Sinopah is a high-res scan from a slide.

I've enjoyed the community here over the past year and look forward to another great year to come.

    I loved that spillway shot. An amazing image. And I love your desire to be better and to make others better. Sometimes I think we forget that striving to be better is more important than showing off a snapshot. Thanks Tom.

    You chose a diverse representation of your work and I liked each one..... The cow is such a wonderful capture of her attitude.... and the spillway shot works on so many levels. Happy Anniversary!

    Happy anniversary! So many great shots! I just look & look at spillway, love cow with attitude! The lighting is wonderful & the cow is a crack up, & Sinopah is just WOW. Always enjoy your shots & appreciate your tips.

    Happy Anniversary!!! Many more photos to you. I love how you are so honest. I loved cow before and still love it. Sinopah is excellant, I don't remember seeing it. :o)

    Happy 1st Anniversary Tom and thank you for your honest critiques of the work. I never saw the cow shot before, shes angry cause shes not from California

    . I must say the balance of dark and light in Sinopah with the cloud movement had me in awe....nice. Hope you enjoy your next year even more.

    Happy anniversary! Love the set but esp cow with an attitude. The dark sky and darker grass in the back ,the light hitting the cow and the "tufts of something" ........in the grass, makes it look, almost 3D. Really cool.
