the color of the butterfly is so vibrant........and the locust---yuk!, but must say you did a good job of capturing it......is there a lot of locust in your area......they sure can cause a lot of damage.

Both very good shots Rockey. It's very hard to catch the Monarch at the right moment when his wings are open. As for the Locust (Cicada?), I have been trying for one of these for weeks now and it is very frustrating. I hear them in the trees and cannot seem to see one. I guess the neighbors thing I am a bit silly standing in the yard staring up in the trees.
