Don't forget to look around

If your fiddling with your camera, studying one scene too long without looking around much, dozing off, or your hiking up a hill a little to quietly, this could happen...

You turn around and there's a Bison (or some other wild animal) right behind you and not to happy about you being there.  I promise your going to surprise yourself in how fast you can really move or what you consider climbable.  I did, lucky for me there was a car with enough clearance for me to slide under.  He charged and grunted and hooved at the ground. Mad that I decided to share it with him.  This guy definetly wanted nothing to do with having his photograph taken.  Well I had my digital camera with me and figured that as long as I wasn't going anywhere and he couldn't get to me I might as well take some pictures.  So this is what I ended up with.

Lesson learned always keep a watchful eye!

I had that experience with Bison. Thought I was going to get run down.

I went to your dashboard and looked at your shots, you have some great photos! Read the new member welcome info over on the right, and it will help you figure out how to insert your photos into the story.... look forward to seeing more from you! In another 24 hours....of course!

Thank you all for your comments, they are greatly appreciated. I am a painter first, designer second and photographer last. I learned to take photos for material to use for my paintings. Sorry I posted 2 stories this site doesn't exactly make it obvious as to what you have to do after you sign up. That little tiny line of text, "New members Welcome," is extremely easy to miss. I didn't even get an e-mail explaining the rules which I find odd.
