Minnesota State Fair 2006 Part II: Sleeping

During our day at the fair on Friday we saw lots of Popup Linksleeping going on.  I don't think I'd sleep so close to that end of a cow's anatomy.  Popup LinkSleeping in the barns seemed to be the most popular.  Of course we saw Popup Linkanimals sleeping too, like this Popup Linkporker who won the biggest bore contest weighing in at 1,040 pounds.  But my recollection is that we saw more Popup Linkhuman-types sleeping than animals.  You might be able to tell from this last shot that I was very nearly on the same plane as my subject.  Hmmm, I wonder why.  zzzzz

Love sleeping in the barns (nice touch with just the feet showing) and the ducklings. And quit eating the animals SG!!!!

Your duckling shot was the cutest - I would even frame that and put it up on the wall. The porker is huge - I sure wouldn't want to make that one angry. I agree with you about sleeping so close to the backend of the cow, but I have noticed sleepers in the barns also - maybe it is because they get up so early to do chores. Nice set!!

    - Flowers are happiness...

The birds-eye of the ducklings is an awesome shot. Loved the theme shots from both days. Great series, Tom!

ROFL, yep the FFA kids here all fall asleep at fair too, so tired by then. The shot of the feet and the three sized cows was great.
