I really like water lilly. The composition and lighting is very nice. Night bloomer is interesting but I think could use some contrast.

Yep water lily is excellent! I can't figure out what exactly it is with night bloom that is missing.

I was playing with the white balance in night bloomer the lighting was horrible and most of the shots had a gold cast to them. I wished that the tip had a sharper focus then it ended up with. Now I remember why I never used that one!

I like night bloomer, agree a little more focus on the tip would be better. Love the lily, the reflection is nice. :o)

hmmm...not too sure what I think about night bloomer, but the water lily is gorgeous. I really like the colors in that image, plus, the DOF and the composition are really well done.

Night bloomer is close,but the point of focus is soft as you have stated. The water lily is gorgeous with it's own reflection.
