A day in the life of our heros

When we went to Hawaii, we made a extra island hop to see one of the most important things I could visit on the islands.....The Arizona

Hope we never forget, that at the same time of the attack the Japanese were having talks in Washington on peace with our country....talk is cheap!

This is a pano of the Arizona as it was in the 1930's..Please use your arrows or ctn n to view

I liked "Through the open roof" and the model of the museum. It gives you a clear idea of how is it made

All beautiful photos, thanks for showing them. I visited about ten years ago, the feeling is intense. What I remember most is that some of the survivors asked to be buried there when they passed.

wowzers. all appreciated, really nice pictures. i like the one still above water and really like the model shots. The fact that there is still oil leaking is a reminder that it really was not that long ago.

You did an excellent job on this, David. We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon; we went to the memorial. Very sad. There seems to be more oil now than what was surfaced when I was there. Guess it just varies.
