I usually avoid "shooting" people, because the shots are terrible. Lately I have made an effort to work on those shots. I think I am getting better. At least I had fun this time.

Comments and critiques, please.

All of these shots have good focus and nice colors. A and D are cute, look natural, plus have great colors. And C is a nice serious shot. I know what you mean about people shots, they aren't easy. I think you did good this time :-)

C for me too. The color and the candid shot are good. Were they taken during mid day? If you take the shots earlier when the sun is coming up or going down your lighting will be very different. I know it isn't easy to always take shots at those times of day. But the lighting will make you really happy.

Thanks everyone. Actually Penny, it was late afternoon, probably about 5:30 if I remember correctly. This wasn't a planned shoot. I just took advantage of the opportunity that presented itself.
