Thought I'd better throw this in before the new challenge goes up.  I recently shot my first set of senior pictures.  One of my favorites was this shot with the model posing in the 'V' of a wooden frame for grapevines.Senior portrait

  • Very nice DOF. I think if you're going for that 'V', the grass showing on the right side is a little distracting. If you had moved the camera position to the right, you might have been able to eliminate it and have the "v" on all edges of the frame. Aside from my opinion on the matter, nice shot :-D Very pretty model, too.

    I agree with DSW, there are filters for your lens that add a slight warming effect for portrait shots. I haven't used them yet myself but they may be worth a try, or perhaps try to tone dowm the brightness a bit with a program, she is beautiful and the composition is lovely.

  • I like the pose and the color.. I believe I would have croped to fill the frame with your subject... In my opinion the washed out tree and bushes above her head, add nothing to the picture...
