A while ago (early October) we went to PA to see the Frank Lloyd Wright designed house "Falling Water" It was very interesting. Then we headed north to Cleveland, Ohio and then back to my favorite vactionland, Michigan. We had a great time.

Thanks for looking.

Beach stairs and lighthouse wave both really nice but I don't think I like you. I've always wanted to see Falling Water. Tell me you toured the inside and I'll swoon.

Yes, We toured the inside and the guest house and the grounds! Very interesting design, but in reality it didn't look very comfortable to live in, bumpy floors and short, low furnishings, part of the design, I know, but not for me. I did love the windows and the decks and the feel of the house clinging to the rocks and the sound of the waterfall in the house and the feel of being outside when inside. You should go, Smalltown05, you'd have a great time!

I have seen that house on a documentary for FLW I saw once, amazing archtecture! They have a tour in chicago of his homes I have always wanted to do, although they do not allow cameras inside (darn it) What a wonderful vacation, these are terrific! Perspective on beach stairs fits the challenge well.

All are interesting---the house would be neat to tour but maybe not live in......can feel the force of the water in rushing to the rescue,...really like the way the light is filtering through in Golden Splash.......

Hey, you were in my neck of the woods when you came through Cleveland...Love the perspective in "beach stairs"...I also love the colors in big red...

    - Have a nice day...

Nice series. I really liked the MI beach stairs, lighthouse and Coast Guard shots. I've read that Falling Water is in a sad state despite the great concept. Did you get any sense of that?

Dragonfly, Sorry I didn't see you in Cleveland!... Falling Water is in need of some repair, but you don't really see it when you tour the place. But there are water stains where they shouldn't be and the people who sponsor the tours also ask for donations to keep up the restoration. It was so neat to see though, that while you're there your just facinated with the whole thing, and the grounds are interesting too. So, I really liked it.

Really like Beach Stairs and the pics of Falling Water. Like the others, I would love to see it for myself. Looks like you had a very nice vacation.

    - learning never ends

Wonderful images! I'm so jealous, but at least you gave a look that isn't the standard FLW shot. Thanks for taking us along! now off to the front page with you...

Great set. The Beach Stairs and C.G. to the Rescue are my picks. The FLW home is very unique. I remember seeing a special about the structural rebuild underneath to keep it from "falling".
