Photography always has a way of calming me, giving me "inner peace". And, I am most at home with nature shots. I went home to see my family the past few days and was able to get some shots of a blue that has taken up residency at the restaurant I used to work at.

What type of bird is that - it is so regal looking. The mill is very peaceful.

Beautiful Blue Heron, to answer Lidljo. They are incredible birds. And the mill is a postcard. Perfectly composed, gorgeous.

Honestly, those shots are breath taking. What a magnificant creature, and the clarity and pose on him was great. Nice Job. Also photography is a good outlet for peace for me too.
