Hello everyone...I've missed you guys...I apologize for my lack of commenting on posts...It seems like forever since I've posted as well...The combination of being in a bit of a rut plus being soooooooo busy with "mommy" stuff has been the reason...Anyway, I finally took the camera out and snapped a few shots...
I found this plant (Christmas Cactus) at the local discount store awhile back...It was way in the back of the other plants, struggling for light...The poor thing was on the edge of death...I took it home and gave it some TLC...The plant has rewarded me with these beautiful flowers and I wish to share them with you...

Nicely repaid for your act of kindness. Christmas flower 1 is a beautiful shot and also the side view. The colors in this flower are so dynamic that I just couldn't settle for the black & white. Glad to see you got a breath and picked up the camera. Like the flower on this plant, your kids are going to reward you for all these hectic "mommy" days you are having now. :o)

Treasure your "mommy day's"--they will be gone before you know it. You did great bringing this plant back to life..really like the side view...beautiful color of bloom.

very nicely done. i know how the mommy thing is,but the camera(and my bird feeder) seems to be my only escape these days. the holiday rush is upon us too. hope you have a good one.
