Tunnel Road

I recently moved to Missouri from Colorado in August. I enjoy taking BW photos once in a while so when I decided to explore Tunnel road in Branson West I loaded my camera with some BW film. Took photo with my Pentax ZX 30 camera. Was very happy to find "tunnel" of trees. Took photo in October. Tunnel Road Fall 2007 Branson West I recently moved to Missouri from Colorado in August. • I saw often that I'm not generally a fan of B&W - but it is perfect for this photo - nicely done.

May just be my comnputer but it seems a tad blown, on the other hand it does give it a surrel look to it that is appealing! Excellant composition.

  • Thanks for all the comments. I was surprised to see so many. I am mostly self taught so I am not up on some of the tech terms. Ashton, could you please let me know what "blown" means? That way I can see how to improve future shots. Thanks.

JC blown out is when your whites look overexposed or too white.

I bet this photo would be absolutely beautiful in color. I confess I am not a big B&W fan. The upper two thirds of this photo is so blended together that all detail and depth is lost. I think that tends to be a hazard on B&W.
