Dawn in Dallas

Got up at the crack of dawn to catch the best light to get a couple of shots from downtown. This is Main Street, Dallas, TX. If you look just off center to the right you can see One Main Place. I've shot this one before using a different perspective, but today i was able to catch the morning sun halfway up the building at 7 in the morning.

This next shot has little to do with Main Street, but I just had to share my best buddy, Rex .  I used a 10-22mm wide angel lens on this one, shot at 13mm.

    Hey smalltown05!!! Glad you like the Dallas shots. Did you get the hint?

    . If you go to my profile and look on page 7 (currently) of my images you will see another shot of Rex in "Blown Away"; he is the one with the light brown coat! This shot, in this posting, was tough to get; as bugaboo noted, he looks playful and he is! Using a super wide angle lens, and moving within a couple of inches of his nose without him licking the lens is a real challenge. It was fun to do but it took me multiple shots to even get this one! It is not 100% of the one I really wanted, but I am getting closer!

    love the shots, the angles, everything about them. as for REX, even close up i can tell he's beautiful and i know what you mean about trying to get a shot of a playful dog who's always so happy to see you that you can't hardly get him to sit still long enough for the shot you really want. give REX a kiss for me
