Groningen is not very touristic as Amsterdam, but it has a lot of interesting sites as the largest city of the northern Netherlands.

neat perspectives, but agree reflections would be better upright.

  • Love the angle in the first one, and I think the reflection works as is because the main subject of the pic is the refleted building and here you see it upright but not quite right...if I didn't know it was a reflection the pic would definently catch my eye and make me stop to ponder it... I'm not quite sure how to say the feeling it gives but I like it!

The composition of the first one is great. I agree with SG that I'd enjoy the reflection more right side up, as long as you've included the houseboat in the image. Might be interesting as is if you cropped at the waterline and over to the second chimney on the left. Even at the risk of image theft, I do wish we could save and play with interesting images.

I guess the question would be, is the reflection photo upside-down? I like the affect it gives as it. It really makes you stop and look.

  • First is very good. Reflection causes you to ponder and has some appealing subject matter. The barge and electrical power box are not very attractive but turning the image as you have accents the artfulness of the historical brick buildings by reflection.

  • Reflection makes you think outside your noggin... so I liked it as it... The first shot wowed me, besides the angle, the subject matter of old against modern is very striking....
