So, here are some photos...enjoy! It only takes a few minutes for the streets to flood here. A note: My house flooded about this time last year; SUNPOO1_3 faces my front door.

  • Guess I'll be the first to say it...you've really gotta focus on the composition of the picture. In all of these, the focus is not clear, the horizons are not straight, and there isn't really a focal point. Yes, you have some memories of the flood here, but artisitcaly....they're really lacking.

  • I like the 2nd best. Not sure but maybe one thing to try on that is a different angle, maybe step to the left a bit to try croping out the building and see how that turns out. Hope the sun comes out soon and dries up all the water!

  • Yeah, they lack focus...I was in a hurry...palofmine: I cropped #2 and uploaded it to my images...but this camera is crap...and that just doesn't help me. So, I'm done posting until I get another camera...I'll vist but I'm wasn't space with my crap...$60 wasted...that's life...maybe walmart will refund my money...you guys have fun...later

IMO, your focus in these shots is better than what you have posted before. #2 is the best of the bunch.

    - f8 and be there...

Where are you holding the camera when you take these photos? My hands naturally shake. All my photos are blurry when I take photos with a point and shoot and I hold the camera away from my body and look at the screen. I have to hold my elbows close to my body and look through the view finder. Also there is a delay of about a second so I just hold the camera there for a couple of seconds after pressing the shutter. Give it a shot, you got nothing to lose. Don't give up on us.
