Please heed these words! Don't put you, your family or the responders in jepardy.

Keep Back 500 Feet

Do you know how far that is? One and two thirds football fields. That is a long distance, isn't it.

Photographer's Note: The camera was level. The fire engine was not.

Bonus shot:

Parade Bell on the ladder truck

Comments, with a smile, are always welcome.

Thank you for looking, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Nice parade bell, is it taken off when not in parade?

  • Pyro43
Nope, DSW... The bell stays there all the time.

I like the reflection in the bell, it sure is shiny. Wish everyone pays heed, but you know there are those that won't. Nice post and photos. :o)

Good advice, Don; not everybody follows those rules.............I was reminded of that just yesterday when I got too close to an 18 wheeler and got a rock slung at my windshield.........thank goodness, it didn't hit hard enough to crack it. Made me back off, though! I was hoping to see a reflection of you in that bell.........

    Nice post, my friend!

Love the bell, and a good challenge photo! I couldn't read it from 500 feet away though. I'd have to get close read it then back off!8o)
