I pick the same two as pyro and penny, And I agree with penny about your whites. I'm glad you've had so much fun with the challenge, it just reinforces that I picked the right one out of my three ideas. I've really enjoyed your perspectives on it :-D
In this case I wanted the whites extremely bright, my way of experimenting with contrasts, and learning from the results. "Caught" is a close-up of home-made paper, the rest were taken on a white surface. I appreciate the advice! Back to the drawing board :)
I should clarify. Charlie I know you were going for high contrast. I just don't want you to push it too far. In a couple of the shots they are boarder line for me. But you know I love your work and I know you want me to be honest with you. So don't you say back to the drawing board like they aren't good. That is not what I mean at all.....don't make me hunt you down to set you straight.....lol I'm used to dealing with teenage boys...you're all difficult....LOL
lol, Penny. Didn't take it that way at all. I always learn new things from reading your comments :) What you said about my whites will be real helpful next time I try something similar. Thanks!
I like flow and what's left. Maybe because of the whiteness. I don't begin to understand the details, just go with what feels right to me. Probably why I prefer color. Too old to change much, I guess.... LOL
