Anticipated Loss

In her many years, my Gramma has read the Bible 56 times. She's currently working on #57 with only a few books left.

If Gramma makes it to September 21, 2007, she'll be 100 years old. Last time I saw her, I couldn't believe how small and frail she had become. When she dies, it will be a loss I cannot put into words.

This is anticipated loss because for the first time, I'm not sure she'll live to see her 100th birthday. She's been ready to go home for years and I think God might finally be ready to call her home. Her prayers might be answered soon.

Gramma's Prayers

  • I don't have words for how moving this image is. Every detail is perfect right down to the ridges on her fingernails. She must be a great source of faith and inspiration for you.

Beautiful, powerful shot. I agree with all the above comments. I hope she sees her 100th healthy and happy. My grandparents lived to be 94 & 95. Its a hard loss, but they were ready. That photo needs to be framed and on a wall for you and your family. :o)
