Fragile - Show The Difference Challenge

This shot is too dark and the subject matter is far from pleasing on the eye.

Slightly better, but now it's a little too soft and grainy! Not enough detail. Eggshell Snapshot II

In this shot I paid attention to contrast and detail, but lighting is too harsh and there's something missing. Eggshell Contrasts

In the end I went for gentle lighting and sepia tones. Fragile Fragile II

What do you think?

Excellent theme post, Charlie. Your descriptions of each image is right on. I really like yuour use of the sepia tone in "Fragile" and "Fragile II". Good shootin'!

I think you got to a great conclusion by breaking a few eggs. But what if you bumped up the contrast in Fragile/Fragile II?

I liked the eggshell contrasts the best. It really shows the detail in the shell, which is very interesting. The sepia are very nice too though! Nice work!
