The buildings all look like toys, like Lincoln logs. Amazing! Great capture of the bug. Good shootin', wilk!

The bug is wonderful. The river (esp #6) is beautifully composed...you should frame that one. All of the buildings are nicely done and well composed, but the very first one is just outstanding...I like that one a LOT.

River #6 and dragonfly are great. The log cabins have stood up to a lot of years. Thanks for the view.

This is a place called Washington-on-the-Brazos; Texas declared it's independence here and it served as the state's first capitol. It's on the Brazos River near an old ferry crossing (about an hour away from where they make Bluebell ice cream). The farm/ranch belonged to Anson Jones, the last president of Texas. The original farm was located a few miles away and the Anson Jones home and buildings were moved to the park.

  • Beautiful set Wilk--the Brazos shots especially. And I love Washington-on-the-Brazos! Was there a few years ago and fell in love with it. Please tell me you got ice cream!
