: A visit to Folly Beach (SC) inspired me to log into Photographica after many months of just lurking and post some recent pics. I thought that these pics seemed to fit the water theme, so I thought I'd share.

: I discovered some old rusty boats that seemed to speak to me.

: A surfer surveys the morning tide.

: Surfing is a spectator sport, too!

And this is , finally brave enough to catch some sun on a public beach now that I have lost 65 pounds!

I've been expirementing with a few new lenses I've picked up, and barely finding time to take pictures, but thrilled at the results! I love Photography!

I luv Scouting and Watching...great composition and color in both. I really like the boat shot also, only thing I think might look good with that one (and believe me...I'm not expert) would be to crop down a little bit so that the row of trees in the far background are croped out. It is a very nice shot though and I can see why it called to you! Congrats on the 65 lbs. That is some hard work and looks like you did great! Welcome!

I like watching as well (so to speak). And I agree with Pal--the boats would benefit from some cropping. And congrats on the weight loss--hard work!!!

"Scouting" is my idea of a beach/surfer pic. The boat shot is very nice. Overall good set. I know about losing weight and how hard it is--so congrats on that. Go to the front, my friend.
