Thanks Smally -- coming from you that's practically an endorsement! By the way, Holga's are practically disposable. . . hint.

I think that you did a fantastic job - do they have disposables that shoot BW or did you remove the color? The first one and the last one are my favorites.

Lidljo, they have disposables that shoot c-41 black and white. Kerry, I got to thinking about what you said: "Can't control shutter speed, can't control depth of field etc. . ." Well, these cameras have a wide depth of field because they have a small aperture, a fast shutter and fast film (mine had ISO 400). So I asked myself when I might use that set up and one answer is early evening for landscape shots. As far as ps, I adjusted the contrast and added a little color tone.

Reflection is beautful, esp like the rings of waterdrops in the rightish corner. Love walkway....wonderful set!

  • I think you hit it on the head by asking yourself what the camera would do best with. As everybody said... Walkway is the best of the lot.

  • Love all of these! Beautiful tones. They remind me of Sally Mann's landscape shots, they have a Southern feel to them. You did a fantastic job!

These are all great - Reflection reminds me of that Stieglitz print that sold not too long ago for a little over $2 million and set a record.

Fantastic work, I like how they seem harsh yet so sharp and well defined, again a touch of the old feel to photography!
