one man's trash...

two disposable cameras, one color and one B&W, 27 exposures each and all I can find to post are 5 of the B&W ones...and they're green!  (gotta love the kids working at Walgreen's...)

I did absolutely no post processing, this is exactly the way they came off the CD.  They sort of remind me of photos I used to take with my Dad's circa-1950's Kodak Brownie camera...when I was nine....

and these are the good ones...

I'm gonna go find my D200 now... and apologize... :-)

  • I think the beach shot looks like something from the 50's.

  • Fuzzy looks down right pissed! I agree with Mr Q. Reminds of Sundays when my my parents would take me out to lunch at The Cliff House and we'd spend the day at the beach...back when I was 7 or 8...A valiant effort nonetheless, no help from Walgreens....do you think it got something to do with their name...lol

    - come over for lunch

  • I kind of like the color caste in the pictures fuzzy. I really liked the second and third shots!

  • I agree--don't think these are that bad. And I agree with the Quack. Almost all of these disposable shots have had a kind of '50s quality--a nostalgic dreaminess--that, when played to, is really effective. Who'd a thunk it?

  • Not bad at all, the contrast is less than desirable but you did great. I think I like the first one. And fuzzy does look pissed.

You did a great job! I love your backyard, looks like a nice place to hang out. I like the repetition of the other side of the street. Fuzzy does look really mad, lol. Go take the D200 out for some fun shots! Thanks for participating in the challenge. :o)

The green and pink casst lends to the older feel of these shots. Not bad for a disposable.
