OK, so i decided to write a story and see if i could get some feedback on my pictures. These pictures are from a project i did on my son and his father. I'm very proud with how they turned out, but could use any comments on what might make my work better! Thanks! :)sadaiden art1 art10 art11 art12 art2 art3 art4 art6 art7 art8 art9 OK, so i decided to write a story and see if i could get some feedback on my pictures. • Welcome! (and it's ok, an editor has fixed it) The shots themselves are beautiful. Great compositions and tones, however whatever you used to scan them in made them fuzzy and is distracting. But I really *love* the compositions. You did a great job documenting your son and his father.

I like the layouts of the shots. The focus was the only thing that I had an issue with.

I would agree with Penny and EMF, but the set is emotional and I love the borders...

  • I think part of the focus thig is the fact that my lens is broken. i just try to work around it the best i can.

  • Welcome to Photographica. Good job for a broken lens and the moments and expressions are wonderful. The poloroid effect is good. The wild hair and son sleeping are my favorites.

  • Welcome! I absolutely love these! I agree they could be a little sharper, but you did a great job with a broken lens. Can't wait to see more!

  • Very artistic. I'm in on the focus thing....but you'll see a bunch of us are sticklers on that one, so nothing personal. I would probably post no more than five photos per story. Unfortunately I totally skipped over your post yesterday because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to open them all. Just a tip. Of course, you can post as many as you think completes your story.

  • I love all of these as is. I dig the soft focus. I wouldn't sharpen them at all.

  • Thats how i felt about them too. Me and my sons father are no longer together, and the pictures and the soft focus give it that empty feeling. that might make you understand why they are the was thay are.
