You would think after not having posted anything worthwhile in a really long time and after having just got back from a 2 week vacation in Mexico that I would have some really great pictures to post...but I don't. Not yet anyway...

What I DO have is a cell phone capture of my broken big toe.

Ta Da, I'm a nurse, Kitzi to the rescue, now for tools of the trade...hammer, sewing needle, cotton thread and hedge clippers, have you back in shoes in no time...oops almost forgot the anesthesia, now where did I put the whiskey?

I completly understand. We may not want to know:} I accidently broke my husband's finger once and the details are kinda strange as to how it happened. Everyone just told him to be careful and not make me mad for real. Hope it did not mess your vacation up too much.

Something new, something blue. Should I translate this to Arabic? I hope this photo leads to a long discussion on "Is this Art?" And I'm glad you didn't include the story, we can make one up involving illegal drugs, midgets and indecent women. Good thing I'm over my swollen foot fetish. As for the photo, it's nice.

Well....ya dropped your beer on it again didn't ya? lol I know you wouldn't do that. You wouldn't abuse alcohol like that. I think we do deserve to know what happened. That is one of those "I just can't tell ya." things that you brought it up not fess up!!!! Looks painfull though. Was Smally there???? LOL

I bet beer was involved... I had a foot like that once and beer, a motorcycle, and the back step were involved but I didn't have to leave the country. I'm voting for this cause I think it's important for people to know the editors on this site are only human, at best, and make mistakes just like the rest of us.

Beer was indeed involved, but I would never do anything as stupid as drop my beer on my foot. I DID however, do something as stupid as drop a 10 pound dumbbell from 4 feet in the air directly onto my big toe. Yeah...it hurt.

You have my sympathy. I must confess I had exactly the same disability once, from a failed attempt to jump over my leg. My wife and kids had no pity, and made me hike in the Rockies none the less. Boy, was I grateful for the ice cold streams!
