Canyon de Chelly II

As if you haven't guessed, one of my passions is black and white photography.  I love the way black and white reduces an image to its essential elements.

Another passion is mysteries. . . so if you're interested, "Fallen Man" by Tony Hillerman takes place in and around Canyon de Chelly.

Again, all are fantastic, Bill! cc5s is my favorite... it looks like there's a garden to the right of the trees in the canyon...or very orderly vegetation! 8o) Love Hillerman's novels, Joe Leaphorn, Jim Chee, great characters.

Beautfil images. It's my passion too, and for the same reason. In color shots your distracted by the color, it b&w you start to look at everything else more closely.

Don -- just so you have some idea of the scale of this place. . . most of the land on the floor of the canyon is farmed and has been for centuries. There are some places, near the ancient ruins, that are kept clear, otherwise there are homes, orchards, and cultivated fields from one end to the other.
