Mesa Verde is one of those places I would like to visit several times until I figure out just how to see and photograph it.  There was way too much to do and see for our two day visit.

Here's a sample:

You're doing great so far with your challenge to yourself..really like 5 & 6 best of these... and with them in b/w they seem to be more desolute......which adds to the mystry of the area.

Another great set, Bill, you're probably getting sick of hearing that, but it's true! I think #1 is my favorite but also like #6 a lot cause you can kinda see down into the structures...very interesting.

I'm glad someone else has had the same problem. Was there many years ago, can remember the feel of standing at the ruins but had trouble seeing it properly or well or something. But your shots are marvelous.

Beautifully done! I remember visiting these places as a teen and climbing down to one of the ruins with the help of a guide. It was so awesome to think that people lived there once.

    - Flowers are happiness...

Birdie and Bill -- Mesa Verde is about a half days drive from Arches so if you're already planning a return trip to the area it's well worth it. I'd love to go back when I have about a week to spend exploring the park. Thank you all for the encouragement and kind words (and Don -- not yet).
