Sunday in the Village with Fuzzy1

Last Sunday Fuzzy1 and I toured Washington Square Park and Greenwich Village. Although the day was overcast and drizzling rain at tea time it was a most enjoyable day.

The Park was mellow because of the weather, so we headed off to the Village.

The Village is off the Manhattan grid, with small winding streets. The main intersection we stood at, on Christopher Street and 7th Ave South, had about seven streets intersecting. Some north/south streets wind east/west intersecting other north/south streets. These photos cover only a small section of the Village.

Green Witch Village was fascinating. It's been awhile seen I've gone in deep. I brought a map with me.

What Wilt said...and to have the eye to know to capture it. I'd love to see my town get the Pablo treatment. It would be great to see it differently. Marvelous post Pablo.

Fun walk! I like Off the Grid and the Christopher street sign... striking! Another thing I noticed about this set is what wonderful variations of RED in so many of the shots! Great shootin!

I haven't been to the "Village" since I was a teen! What a great treat to see it thru your eyes!I'm esp. drawn to "off the grid","stoned",and "street art"!

I had a great time Pablo! It's always so much fun exploring your city with you! And these photos are all great - it's always interesting when both of us see the same sights, but we each 'see' completely different things!
