St. Joseph's

West of Albuquerque on Route 66, just beyond "Dead Man's Curve," is the Laguna Pueblo. Sitting on the hill above the pueblo is St. Joseph's, a brilliant white adobe church. I've passed it a number of times on I-40 and this year decided to stop.

5 and 8 are my favorites and they are all exceptional. I like the black leaves in all of them, the passage framing in some and the black sky in 5.

I get so excited when you post, because I know I am in for an exceptional look at something new! You are amazing and so is this church. I love that it screams of Western architecture. The last shot is to die for.

I love your black and white pictures! My fav is number 7 ...The madona picture is projecting a sense of protection and peace. Beatifully done.
