St. Joseph's

West of Albuquerque on Route 66, just beyond "Dead Man's Curve," is the Laguna Pueblo.  Sitting on the hill above the pueblo is St. Joseph's, a brilliant white adobe church.  I've passed it a number of times on I-40 and this year decided to stop.

St. Josephs, Laguna Pueblo

Peace.

5 and 8 are my favorites and they are all exceptional. I like the black leaves in all of them, the passage framing in some and the black sky in 5.

I get so excited when you post, because I know I am in for an exceptional look at something new! You are amazing and so is this church. I love that it screams of Western architecture. The last shot is to die for.

It's like everyone is reading my thoughts...These are stunning! I've always had an affinity to "Georgia O'Keffe"...she would be proud to call these her own!...and I'm jealous!

Thanks -- Georgia O'Keeffe? You are way too kind. Carol -- If you take the Harleys out Route 66 on your second honeymoon trip to Monument Valley, you'll pass right by it.
