We've been Whale watching last Saturday. Despite my seasickness, I managed to shot some of the well-known aspects of the humback whales behaviour: the roll over,
 the spyhopping,
 another head spying,
the tail slap,
the blow of the mother guiding the calf,
white light travelling through drops of water, guess what this leads to? and they eventually got bored of our presence
 and left.

  • Oh my, what a fasicinating experience to see such a spectecular water show....in white light travelling looks like rainbow colors ..

  • The humpback whales are such amazingly friendly and smart creatures! It's so shameful that "humans" killed them until recently. Thanks a lot for your comments!

  • I've never been whale-watching. You are very lucky, albeit seasick! Tail Slap is my fave, although the rainbows on the others add such a sweet, sort of magical touch...especially to the mother and calf.
