A Walk in the Woods, Black and White Style

I went for a bike ride today and then walked back into my favorite woods to check out the fall colors. They're not quite at peak yet. I've been checking every several days. I did manage to get a black and white image out of it.

P.S. I've mentioned this before. This image is darker on Photographica than it normally would be because the color profile info gets stripped.

    Pretty! Tree's are just starting to change here in MI too. Not quite there yet but there are some here and there that are pretty colorful.

    Are you saying this photo looks lighter on your computer but after you upload it, it darkens down? I have not encountered that problem myself, most of my photo look the same as they do on my desktop. (occasionally one will get distorted for some reason) Interesting problem, I would think there would be a way to correct this. Some kind of browser setting or maybe even a different web browser. ( go Firefox ) Might make an interesting forum topic. Blessings DSW
