I love the St. Louis zoo.  It is a great place to just stroll thru and take photos.   And its free!  A Simple pleasure.  I got to go Sunday, here are a couple of the photos.

Sleepy head
giraffe
Polar Bear

We got there early hoping that the animals would be more active, as you can see, they were already wore out.  :o)

    I love that zoo, too, Robin! You got some great shots! Really clear! EMF, when you decide to go to the Nashville zoo, pm me; I'm only an hour or so away. I've been wanting to go there, too.

    I love the zoo...any of them. After all I made my hubby take me to the Detroit zoo. The boys didn't want to go so just him and I went. He puts up with a lot from me I tell ya.... I am all about the first shot. I love love love the big cats.
