I haven't been able to get out and take photos lately, so I'm falling back on some old shots. Hope you don't mind.

This picture was taken on Highway 178 near Onyx, CA. I love the Joshua Trees. We don't have them on the desert floor (where I live), but once you hit about 4,000 feet heading up the Southern Sierras towards Lake Isabella, you start to run into thousands of them.

I like the way it leans with the right tree frame and is reaching for the mountain peak. Nice composition!

    - So shoot already!!

    Beautiful exposure, composition and details.

What bug said for me, too. New stuff would be nice...........I hope the reason you're not able to shoot has nothing to do with a sickness.........

I do have Fibromyalgia, and stress does make it significantly worse (and I'm going through a very stressful situation right now), but I force myself to push through it. It's been difficult finding the time to get away, but I plan on remedying that situation. Photography is such good therapy! Thank you for caring.

    - Enjoy the journey....

My wife has FM so I know what you are talking about. Personally I suffer from CRS.

It is a very nice shot. I hope things get better soon. *Old shots are fine to use if you have not posted them before or if they have been redone*. Also any old shots can be thrown in with new stuff. I use old shots as my thumbnail often. It kind of falls under the golden rule. When you post a shot that is the exact same as you have posted before you are pushing someone else off of the front page. We have had discussions about this in the past. And most people would prefer a new shot that is well done over a reposted exact shot or a shot of whatever just to have something to post. I am just putting this in your post so others know. It has been awhile since it was brought up. That way newer memebers know this. (I didn't see that this was posted before.) :0)

Popcorn? My first thought was it looks like cloves of garlic! It is a great shot! Sorry to hear you suffer from Fibromyalgia. My sister has had it for years, and I know it is very debilitating. Keep shooting! Having a passion takes your mind off your matter....

I also forgot to mention that my mother in law has Fibromyalgia. They now know that it has been in her family for years and year. They just called all the others in the past hypocondriacs (sp?). At least now they recognize it and don't just say it's all your imagination. That is what they used to do. It is miserable. I see her have good days and some really bad ones.

Sure hope you start to feel like getting out there and doing some more of your photography. This bloom looks like a Yucca plant to me.
