This photo is as fresh as the newly fallen snow on the top hat of my back yard inhabitant. I took this just ten minutes ago. The weather forecast is calling for several more inches yet today.
A snowman couldn't be happier.

Thanks all. Just wanted to address a couple things. The snowman is approx. five feet tall. Imagine how my back felt after hefting that second ball up there! As for the getting the proper exposure and the correct color for the snow, I've been doing a lot of work with that. Initially I began with +1 exposure compensation but I've found that a setting of more like +1.7 is almost perfect in the majority of situations. I made no adjustments to the brightness of this shot and to me it seems nearly perfect.
