All are very good, but I find the uniformity of tone in church one intriguing.

  • smalltown05
That's called cloudy day and flat balance. But I much prefer intriguing!

I like the flow in cabin path; leads the eye right in. Great contrasts, too.

Smalls, I like the composition of the church shot. I also like the cabin path, but maybe try cropping a tiny bit off of the right hand side of the image, to get rid of the half fencepole. It will make it a stronger overall composition.

    - f8 and be there...

Good catch Fuzz. Never even saw it.

Cabin Path for me Smalls, excellent shot! Love the lines in Bar but a bar with a rail needs a spitoon! 8o)

    - Fickle Finger of F8

Let me guess, your in the Texas hill country....hmmm, the bar and the church were right next door to each other right!! You know how we do around here! Don't want to have to go too far for the sinning or the saving! LOL Love cabin path also but agree with Fuzzy on the crop.

Another for "cabin path"...I like how the shot leads your eye toward the woods...

    - Have a nice day...

I like the geometric shapes in cabin path and how you can walk right into the photo. Also like church one for the upward movement of the architecture. Pointing toward God. Just a suggestion, experiment, try cropping it in the middle of the round window, so only the top half circle of the window is showing.

  • Birdie
A little leaning to the right in the church , to the left in bar Love the path

  • Pyro43
Being from Wisconsin, I like the bar shot, and I'd love to put my foot on the rail at the bar and share a drink with someone. ;-) Lookin' for a volunteer.

    - Mmmmmm... Multiplicative

  • smalltown05
The angle on the church is intentional. Whatever lean you see in the bar is a result of perspective. And sign me up for that drink Pyro. I need one.

Church is my favorite. Really like the composition on that one. All are very nice.

Can't add anything different. Love the path, the bar is great, reminds me of home. Like the angle on church! Nice shooting. :o)

  • buggin
I haven't had a chance to look until now, great pictures, my choice is bar because of the richness of the tones.

  • boyhidingintree
Wonderful contrast and composition in "cabin path", love how it draws you in. Great perspective in "bar".

  • BEARPHOTO
Path is inviting...Church is soothing tone and comp. but the broken window caught my eye. The Bar fooled me and loweho and left us parched. Good perspective. I tried cropping the right side to eliminate window light and it is interesting.

  • bugaboo
Cabin Path is my favorite also, it makes me wish I could go further and see what it holds.

  • bullshoalsview
We are going to do rockwork around alma's this spring, I think I just found my path plan..... thanks! Like the low perspective on the bar shot..... great wood!
