Smalls, I like the composition of the church shot. I also like the cabin path, but maybe try cropping a tiny bit off of the right hand side of the image, to get rid of the half fencepole. It will make it a stronger overall composition.
Let me guess, your in the Texas hill country....hmmm, the bar and the church were right next door to each other right!! You know how we do around here! Don't want to have to go too far for the sinning or the saving! LOL Love cabin path also but agree with Fuzzy on the crop.
I like the geometric shapes in cabin path and how you can walk right into the photo. Also like church one for the upward movement of the architecture. Pointing toward God. Just a suggestion, experiment, try cropping it in the middle of the round window, so only the top half circle of the window is showing.
Being from Wisconsin, I like the bar shot, and I'd love to put my foot on the rail at the bar and share a drink with someone. ;-) Lookin' for a volunteer.
Path is inviting...Church is soothing tone and comp. but the broken window caught my eye. The Bar fooled me and loweho and left us parched. Good perspective. I tried cropping the right side to eliminate window light and it is interesting.
We are going to do rockwork around alma's this spring, I think I just found my path plan..... thanks! Like the low perspective on the bar shot..... great wood!
