located in Menominee, Michigan... it was built in 1854 and is still opening it doors ... I received my first bible here, attended sunday school and was in the church choir for many years.. Comments and Critiques are appreciated.. blessings.. Ms Judi...

the shot is grainy but it works for the shot. Giving it an old time feel. But what is the bright spot in the shot?

The bright spot is a light that is always on to welcome people to come inside.. when i was young i used to think it was a fine castle .

I looked to see if I could see a light and was wondering if that is what it was. Thanks MsJudi

  • The light definitely makes the shot interesting. I'm not a fan of the grain on this one. If it was intentional, then we just have differing tastes. But if it wasn't, it seems to me like the ISO was too high...

  • What a lovely church. I am undecided about the noise here. I like the texture it adds to the building but not the sky. Lovely memory. I like the spotlight.

I'm with Peachy. The grain adds to the building gives it a textured feel. Doesn't help the sky or snow, tho. Don't know how you could have done different given the low light. Overall, a nice architectural shot.

Very nice Msjudi, the grainy look on this photo suits it quite well. Do you still go to this church? Blessings DSW
