One by one she drops her leaves. As tears would fall, when one grieves, the loss of warth and life that summer brings. No song bird sings. Breath by breath I pause and wait, As one lost in thought and consumed with fate, The day is done. There is no summers sun. Step by step, I keep my pace, Each hope and trial of life retrace. And wonder so in disbelief, How all of life is seen in the budding of a tree, and the falling of a leaf.
Thank you, jeffrey! I sure do miss you!!! I appreciate *all* the feedback I get, but those of us who've been around a while know who jeffrey is and it's a real honor when he graces the site........I *do* thank all y'all for your comments!

Like this shot very much. Enjoy the solitude that it projects. I’d like to see it in black @ white, and in sepia
I love how the tree dominates the shot, then everything else begins to be seen, the lovely sky colors, the haybales, the dimensional colors to the grass, overall a stunning capture! I feel honored to be the one sending this and you to the front.
Great looking tree seems massive! I just love the clouds (I'm a cloud person :) ) in the background especially on the left side of the tree. Composition is wonderful
