Okay, we were out on a snowy day and I was shooting from the car's rider's side. I set my camera to a low ISO, set the shutter speed to slow and the fstop to a small opening. Another One!I wanted the blur effect, but am not sure this works. Or is this one better with the wider perspective? I kind of liked the trailing lights behind the plow truck on this one! But I liked the isolated effect on the first? Which one works best for you? Intentional Blur  Or perhaps neither works particularly well?

Sorry, I got the picture order backwards, but can't take the time to rewrite...sorry for the mix-up.

Not feeling these. I think there must be some point that draws the eyes, or it is just a bug blur.

  • Where in the world were you standing!! I have seen what you are trying to achieve, but I think it is done in PS because the ones that I see do have buggin's focused point withing the streaking blur. Almost like taking a shot and then zooming the side areas. BUT I MAY BE WRONG! As something you are trying, I like the tighter one best. I don't have any suggestions as to how to achieve what you are trying for, maybe find one like what you want and see if you can find how it was done. Maybe I will ask someone I know that has done this.

  • A very wise man once said "Anyone can take a picture that is in focus, it takes a real talent to create a good blurry picture". (Not sure who this wise man was ... but you get the point) ... I really like the first one, I feel you have "created" a great blurry picture ... Job Well Done!

    - Out of Focus!!
