Our trip to Las Vegas, Nevada Part 1

My husband and I got a chance to go to Las Vegas. Did not want to turn it down. My best friends took care of our three children( along with her three). We had 2 days to enjoy the sights. The first day we stayed in Las Vegas and the second we rented a car and went to Hoover Dam and to  a place called Valley of Fire.

Valley of fire are the first shots that I will be posting (My personal favorites).

I also like to let you know that I froze on a opportunity to talk and have a book signed by Peter Lik. Its a long story and won't get into it. But he has a gallery at the Hotel we stayed at and his photos are amazing to see.

    Nice slide show! All well done. I need to stop there someday! I have driven over Hoover dam several times but usually at night or really early in the am, before daylight. :o)

    valley of fire was my favorite part of the trip. Las Vegas was nice but I am more into nature and the beauty of it all. Although the hotel we stayed at was very nice. we think if we get the chance to go again we will rent a car for the 2 days and check out more of scenery like grand canon.

    Very Nice Post - Great job of capturing the colors and texture that dominate Valley of Fire ... Valley of Fire is like no other place ... Next time take a trip to Zion National Park - It is beautiful and very different from Valley of Fire (It has trees & a river!!!)
