Golden Morning

Went on a roadtrip with Jaryd yesterday.  We got about an inch of snow overnight and it was supposed to be cloudy but clearing so I hoped we'd have a nice sunrise.  Sunrise is getting earlier each day and by the time we drop Barb off the sun is already up so we don't have much time to travel far.  We headed out to this State fishing area near Chinook coal mine along I-70 and got there just as the sky turned a beautiful yellow and the sun peaked thru the clouds.  It only lasted about 10 minutes though but was nice while it lasted.

    Excellent! A lesson on photography with out words. And that certainly is a "Golden Pond". Like the last as well, maybe more. You even have bunny tracks there.

    Beautiful shots! I love the first two. Beautiful light and composition. I like the trees with the snow on the trunks. You and Jaryd are so lucky for having these times together! :o)

    No, HS, none are hdr I shot enough exposures to make them hdr but liked the results without it and the first one had a problem with the reeds in foreground with blurriness from wind. These are all, if I remember correctly, straight from lightroom.

    I absolutely love "On Golden Pond". The right place at the right time, camera with you, excellent composition and a very good photographer. Excellent work of art!
