Mohave Desert National Preserve Wildflowers …

About an hour drive South of Las Vegas (in California) is the Mojave Desert National Preserve … As there were a lot of winter rains last year, the wildflowers are abundant.

Along with members of my local camera club, in early April I ventured into the Mojave Desert to take pictures of Desert Wildflowers … (I HATE SNAKES!! ... so I did this with some trepidation … the only snake I saw was a huge Diamondback Rattlesnake in the road as I was leaving ... needless to say that ended my picture taking)

So please enjoy a few pictures of Mojave Desert Wildflowers …

There is no possible way that you hate snakes more than I do. But I understand Vegas and the Mohave Desert, so maybe there is. Those dandelions are my pick (no pun) but all are really nice. Great colors...
